1. First priority is to work on your modules. No one leaves class for this. Newsroom may be closed at lunch today. Photo editors, please check with Ms. Atallah to see if newsroom will be open, if not, shooting will have to wait until tomorrow.

2. You were told to bring in a newspaper but if you forgot don't worry, use online newspapers. You are to find 5 different stories: 3 news, 1 sports, 1 arts. Write (type only) a nutgraph for each story--list them all on one page.

SAVE the page as NUTGRAPH-your name-period ON THE P DRIVE IN THE FILE CALLED "NUTGRAPHS"

(Note: This is a graded assignment--worth 20 pts per nutgraph for a total of 100 pts. DUE TODAY OR TOMORROW.)

1. First priority is to work on your modules. Your editors will organize the teams today to go to three different classes this period. You will leave the newsroom at 15 minutes before the hour to get to the classrooms on time. The classrooms for both 3rd and 4th period are:
Ms. Thomas - room 2217
Ms. Mills - room 1161
Ms. Grogan - room 1208
4TH PERIOD - PLEASE HURRY BACK TO TURN IN YOUR CAMERAS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AT THE START OF LUNCH IN CASE YOUR TEACHER CHOOSES NOT TO STAY IN THE NEWSROOM AT LUNCH.

2.TODAY'S ASSIGNMENT: In charge--3rd=Cindy, 4th=Eunice You will be given one of last year's Bulldog newspapers. You are to select any story in any of the issues. One story only. You are to rewrite the story, including the lead AND you are to create a NEW HEADLINE.

SAVE YOUR STORY as "10-7-rewrite-yourname" in the "10-7 assignments" folder that Cindy will create in the P drive. If it's not there, please ask her to create it.
